When I was planning my wedding a few years ago, I attended this event and found a lot of useful information on catering, decor, photography, floral arrangement and attire from the countless vendors. Touted as California's largest bridal show, the Bridal Showcase takes over eight buildings at Cal Expo. So this is a mega-bridal fare.

Despite the size, try not to be intimidated. Mostly everyone who are attending are on the same ship; all are daunted by the task at hand. So as a now married person, I've provided a brief planning guide - Bridal Fair Tips - to help navigate through your first, among many for sure, bridal fairs.

If you can't make it to this one, the organizers will also have another Bridal Showcase scheduled at the Stockton Civic Auditorium in Stockton on January 25 and a to be announced event at the Dixon Fairgrounds in Dixon.
