There may not be much evidence of the Irish around Sacramento on a regular basis, but tomorrow, March 16 at 1pm, the 17th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will commence in Old Sacramento. The cobblestone streets and historic buildings are the perfect backdrop for this parade that's one of the largest in Northern California.
Come see Irish dancers, bagpipe players, baton twirlers, firefighters, horses and much more at this family friendly St. Patrick's Day event. The parade kicks off at Second and L Streets, and children close to the parade route may catch some sweet treats.
