BonnLair
Address: 3651 J St., Sac.
Phone: (916) 455-7155
Hours: 11:30 a.m. to 1a.m. daily

The dark wood interiors of this pub makes you feel as though you just stepped into a traditional Irish pub. This East Sacramento establishment serves imported beers, ales and stouts. Chat it up with friends in a private booth or try your luck on the dart board. For those seeking some sustenance, they will serve corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick’s Day. And although they won’t have any planned events, a staffer says the bar will be manned with extra bartenders who “are very entertaining.”

Club 2-Me
Address: 4738 J St., Sac
Phone: (916) 451-6834
Hours: 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily

Club 2-Me sits on the border of East Sacramento and Midtown. They serve decent drinks at good prices and as such is a magnet for the college crowd. The name can be a bit misleading as Club 2-Me is not a nightclub, but a bar. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have a good time there, they have a jukebox, pool table, shuffleboard, darts and a Golden Tee.

Gallagher’s Irish Pub
Address: 1201 K St., Sac.
Phone: (916) 444-3444

O’Malley’s Irish Pub is located right smack dab in Old Sacramento. For St. Patrick’s Day weekend, this bar is usually packed. Although they don’t have anything special planned – since the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is located close by – a staffer says usually Irish dancers “just show up” to shake a leg.
