The Huntington & Hopkins Hardware store was originally located at 222 K St. The buildling was relocated during Old Sacramento's redevelopment during the 1960s and 1970s.

Throughout the year, Old Sacramento is a buzz with special events. From February to December, visitors can visit the museums for free, listen to non-stop jazz during Jazz Jubilee, relive the gold fever during Gold Rush days, or celebrate the yuletide during Heritage Holidays.
