The Wells Fargo History Museum is located on the ground floor of the B.F. Hastings Building. Wells Fargo was among the buildings first tenants. The bank bought gold, sold paper drafts, and offered rapid delivery of gold for the growing 49er community. Exhibits include a scale model of the Wells Fargo Concord Stagecoach, original Howard & Davis gold scales, and a large safe for storing gold.
The Wells Fargo History Museum is located at the corner of J and 2nd streets.
