RUN – The Sacramento Zoo hosts its 28th Annual Zoo Zoom.
When: April 13. 6:45 a.m. registration opens; 8 a.m. 5K run/walk; 8:35 a.m. 10 K run; and 9:45 a.m. kids run.
Location: Sacramento Zoo, 3930 West Land Park Drive, Sac.
Cost: $9 general, $8.25 seniors, $6.50 kids 3-12 and free for kids 0-2. Free admission to runners and their families. $25 entry fee for 5K/10K; $12 fee for kids.

HEARST COLLECTION – The California Museum of History, Women, and the Arts will exhibit the largest grouping of Hearst Castle collection.
When: Through April 13. Museum hours Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.
