ZOO EVENT – The Sacramento Zoo will celebrate a Happy Newt Year in the reptile house. There will be education talks and shows at: 11 a.m. an Animal Encounter in the Discovery Room; and TBD Enrichment & Talks at 2:15 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.

SHOW – “Walking With The Dinosaurs: The Live Experience” will roar into Arco Arena.

PHOTOGRAPHY – The growing changes in China will be exhibited in “China: Rivers of Change.” This photographic exhibit will be a joint project with the Appel Gallery and Viewpoint Photographic Center. A reception will be held at Viewpoint on Jan. 12, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
