ELECTION HISTORY – The California State Capitol will harcken back to the early 1900’s as the California State Capitol Museum hosts Election Day Living History.

FREE MUSEUM DAY – Visit area museums as part of the Bank of America Free Museum Day. Just show your Bank of America card at The California Museum for History, Women and the Arts, Crocker Art Museum and the Explorit Science Center in Davis.

PET ADOPTATHON – The Sacramento SPCA will host Santa Paws, Adoptathon and Holiday Shopping event where pets and their owners can get pictures taken with Santa. Also would-be-pet-owners can find their four-legged friends at the pet adoption area.
When: Nov. 1 and 2, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

APPLE HILL RUN – Contribute to the education of Camino students at the 29th Annual Apple Hill Run. The run winds through the fruit farms and scenic neighborhoods.
When: Nov. 2. Registration from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Half-mile run is 8:30 a.m. The 8.5-mile run starts 8:50 a.m. The 3.5-mile run starts 9 a.m.
