JOSE FRANCH-BALLESTER – Clarinetist Jose Franch-Ballester has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and now makes a stop at the Mondavi Center. Listen to audio clips from this performer.

ITALIA FEST – Puccini’s “Love Scene from La Boheme” and Rossini’s William Tell Overture are among the works performed at the Sacramento Camellia Orchestra’s 2008-09 season opener, Italia Fest. Pre-performance entertainment includes free wine tasting and folk dancing. The Camellia Junior Orchestra performs at 6:30 p.m.

NOV 11 | TUESDAY

DANCE – The Song and Dance Ensemble of West Africa performs traditional music and dance portraying the mythologies and folklore of West Africa. Watch a video clip from this performer. Matinee performance is suited for kids in kindergarten to 12th grade.
