Even our four-legged friends need an area to roam, jump, play and socialize. Here is a list of off-leash dog parks in Sacramento.
But before rushing off to these parks, here are some rules to abide by.
- Dogs must remain on the leash at all times and can only be off the leash when in the designated fensed areas.
- Dog owners and handlers must clean up after their dog(s).
- All dogs must have in their possession – on their collar, of course – a current license.
- No aggressive dogs are allowed in the designated off leash areas. Any dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior will be removed from the area.
- Adults must supervise children who are younger than 14 years old.
- Female dogs in season are not allowed in these areas.
- Glass containers, alcohol and food are not permitted.
- The City of Sacramento reserves the right to close down these facilities for repairs and/or maintenance.
