If you are not in the mood to tackle defrosting a 15-pound turkey or rolling out dough for a homemade pumpkin pie, then maybe eating out will be your ideal alternative.

Here are a list of restaurants offering a special Thanksgiving menu to help you ease into the holiday season.

The Firehouse

Menu: Four course menu that includes shrimp and scallop crouquette, roasted sweet potato bisque, roasted turkey breast, beef wellington and pumpkin crème brulee. Vegetarians can opt for the trio of winter vegetables for its third course. Children’s menu, for diners 12 years old and younger, consists of three courses. Full menu is online.
Cost: $44.95 per person, $15 per child. Gratuity of 20 percent of parties six or more.

La Provence Restaurant and Terrace

Scott’s Seafood

Menu: Although Scott’s is a seafood restaurant, they are offering a a twist to the traditional Thanksgiving dinner with an oven roasted “Diestel Ranch” turkey dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, candied sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, green beans almandine and pumpkin cheesecake. Cost: Turkey dinner $25.95 for adults and $9.95 for kids. Other main dishes range from $18.95 to $46.95.
