Get a taste of what Yolo County agriculture has to offer at area farmers markets.

DAVIS MARKETS

Davis Farmers Market
You can't complete a visit to Davis without going to the Davis Farmers Market. This market has been selling locally grown produce since 1976. It's just a few blocks from the UC Davis campus. So you'll see quite a few students and faculty meeting up at the market.
  • Location: Central Park, 4th and C streets, Davis
  • Hours: Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., year round. "Picnic in the Park" Wednesdays, 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm., March to November. "East Quad Farmers Market" Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., fall and spring quarters

ESPARTO MARKETS

Capay Valley Regional Farmer's Market
This is a monthly market located in the Esparto Community Park. Buyers can find Capay Valley grown vegetables, fruits, beef, lamb, nuts and wine. Many of the growers grow certified organic produce. Visitors can also find health information and themed Saturdays, such as Health Fair, Fiesta Mayo and Honey Festival.
  • Location: 16960 Yolo Ave., Esparto
  • Hours: 9 a.m. to noon, 2nd Saturdays from April to December

WOODLAND MARKETS

Woodland Certified Farmers' Market
This market is located at a new site, Fremont Park on Main Street. For more than a decade it was located at the County Fair Mall parking lot. You can find fresh produce, breads, flowers, and eggs. With the park as its backdrop, there's a playground for the kids and a gazebo for entertainment. Vendors also accepts WIC Program vouchers. They also are open on Saturdays.
  • Location: Main Street, between 4th and 6th streets, Woodland
  • Hours: Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, May to October
